Digital Bridge is a social enterprise, wholly owned by The Shoreditch Trust NDC.

The aims of Digital Bridge:

• Target and eliminate digital exclusion
• Prepare communities for the digital switchover.
• Improve the delivery of public services (through reduced cost and enhanced usage).
• Increase community engagement, enable local democracy and remove barriers between the emergency services (particularly the police) and the community.
• Offer a wide range of useful services in demand by target communities, including:
     Crime
     Housing
     Education
     Finance
     Health
     Community events
• Ensuring development is sustainable, self-financing and scalable.
  

Financed by a combination of the Government (ODPM) funds, European structural funding and private investment, Digital Bridge aims will bring digital services to Shoreditch and, on successful implementation, will be rolled out to to communities all across the UK.
